Celebrating Five Years of Responsible Business Progress

Share to:

Since joining the Charter, its ten commitments have served as an important framework for how we operate: guiding how we support our people, how we serve our clients, how we work with suppliers and how we reduce our environmental impact. Today, responsible business is woven into our culture and increasingly embedded into everyday decision‑making across our organisation.

Putting clients first

We remain focused on delivering clear, high‑quality financial advice and continually improving client outcomes. Over the past 12 months, regular feedback loops and enhanced client understanding have helped us sustain strong satisfaction levels — including a 4.73/5 customer satisfaction score and 4.8/5 rating on Trustpilot

Reducing our environmental impact

Our continued shift towards digital communication — from online document signing to reduced office printing — is helping lower our environmental footprint. Partnerships with organisations such as Furthr and Tusker also support colleagues in making positive climate‑focused lifestyle choices.

Championing inclusion

Building a more diverse and inclusive organisation remains central to who we are. Recent progress includes:

  • Achieving Bronze on the Inclusive Employers Standard
  • Meeting our Women in Finance Charter senior‑representation target ahead of schedule (now moving towards 40%)
  • Seeing our colleague networks recognised with a MoneyAge Diversity Award for Best Initiative

Listening to — and supporting — our people

Colleague voice is vital to our culture, with more than 300 colleagues now involved in our colleague networks. Our wellbeing approach remains holistic too, covering mental, physical and financial wellbeing through access to EAP, Bupa and a range of internal and external resources.

Responsible sourcing

Our Supplier Code of Responsibility outlines clear expectations on human rights, safety, sustainability and inclusion, supported by annual attestations and ongoing engagement. We’re also proud to have received the Good Business Pays “Fast Payers” Award last year for consistently paying suppliers on time.

We remain an accredited Real Living Wage Employer, and we do not use zero‑hours contracts — reflecting our commitment to fairness and security at work.

Supporting our communities

Over the past year, colleagues have raised £178,000 for charities and contributed more than 1,800 volunteering hours across the UK. From fundraising to hands‑on volunteering, these efforts demonstrate the difference we can make when we work together.

Looking ahead

Five years on, our commitment to responsible business practices remains as strong as ever. Good Business Week is a reminder of how far we’ve come — and how much more there is still to do. We’ll continue pushing ourselves to go further, raising standards and living our values every day.
