Change in the Ownership Structure of Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW)
As of 9 October, SPW is now a fully owned subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group and over the coming months, will become Lloyds Wealth.
As you may know, SPW was established in 2019 to offer simple, accessible and affordable financial advice to more people across the UK, including Lloyds’ extensive retail customer base. It has drawn on Schroders’ investment expertise and technology capabilities to do so.
This new ownership structure will not change your relationship with SPW (ACD); or the ACD’s investment management arrangements with Schroders, who will continue to act as Investment Adviser in relation to the ACD’s funds.
We’ll continue operating in the name of SPW (ACD) for the time being, with the intention to complete a change of name to Lloyds Wealth (ACD) in the months ahead subject to regulatory approval.
