Our heritage may be 400 years old, but our approach is built for the future.

Our unique relationship with Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland means that you have access to more people who could benefit from financial advice.

Our colleagues in the banking networks are in a great position to identify customers with financial planning needs and, if suitable, make an introduction to us. This allows you to focus on doing what you love – building relationships with the clients who are referred to us to help change lives for the better.

Hear from our some of our Personal Wealth Advisers

I pride myself on building strong relationships with my clients. I don’t view my job as work but rather an opportunity to help and nurture my clients through their own financial journey. I’m happy to be able to be there for them, locally or on the end of the phone, for any questions they have. At Schroders Personal Wealth, I'm so grateful that I get to focus on delivering the best possible experience and developing trusted relationships with my clients, rather than chasing new business leads.

Manjinder Singh Gill, Personal Wealth Adviser

I joined SPW as a Client Engagement Associate with no previous experience in financial services, and very quickly became settled in what I now view as my long-term career. The training and support I received when I joined was first rate, I was fully supported to study for my Financial Planning Diploma, and within a couple of years I joined the Elevate Scheme which prepared me perfectly for becoming a financial adviser. I’ve found the business to be an open, flexible and friendly environment where you are given the opportunities to be the best you can be while support is always on hand should you need it.

Jack Barker, Associate

With the rising cost of living crisis and a young family to support, the peace of mind that receiving a non-commission based salary provides is invaluable. I am encouraged and supported to deliver the right outcomes for my clients, not what makes me or the business more money. The freedom to do the right thing for each and every one of my clients is why I became a financial adviser in the first place. I can’t put a price on the level of job satisfaction that this gives me.

Gavin Casizzi, Financial Planning Director

It’s important for me that my values are aligned with those of the company I work for. The vision for Schroders Personal Wealth is We Change Lives. I’m lucky that I get to do that every day. Making a difference to someone’s life can be achieved through a series of small actions. Each one seemingly insignificant, but when put together can have a huge impact. For me, this is what financial planning is all about – helping clients make plans to get them where they want to be in life. Doing that in a business that rewards me for doing what’s right for my clients makes it all the more fulfilling

Katie Nutting, Financial Planning Director

My working day is very flexible – my days are dependent upon the needs of my clients but also my family. Every day is different, sometimes I interact with clients from home, virtually, and sometimes I'm out and about at clients’ homes or in branches. I enjoy that not every day is the same. Here, I am always made to feel like I can work how I want and need to and not stuck with having to do the typical 9 - 5. I'm a mother of two children, one of whom has additional needs. Throughout my working life I’ve often felt like I’ve had to parent like I didn’t have a job, and work like I didn’t have a family. Schroders Personal Wealth has been different. It’s allowed me to endeavour to be my best at both of these things, without having to sacrifice one for the other. As a result I want to work hard and do my best for them, and therefore my clients.

Alice Harmer, Personal Wealth Adviser

The training provided by Schroders Personal Wealth is both informative and engaging and held my attention well. The pace and length of the induction training hit the sweet spot and I felt really supported throughout. It's really important for me to have face to face training to form bonds and relationships and help me feel part of the team. The balance of classroom based training and remote learning felt just right and worked really well with my home life. The perfect mix.

Manisha Patel, Personal Wealth Adviser

As a chartered financial adviser, I pride myself on providing my clients with first class advice and service. It has always been my driving force and why I love doing what I do every day. But I knew that the next step in my career needed to be different. As a female in a male-dominated industry, it can often be challenging to remain visible and have your voice heard. Since joining Schroders Personal Wealth, I’m energised by the influence I’ve been able to have over the decisions that affect me. Joining a growing, dynamic business provides opportunities to be part of the change and it feels good.

Makala Green, New Client Adviser

When I first joined SPW, I was responsible for welcoming clients and matching their needs to the right adviser. The job was interesting and varied, but for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be the person giving the advice. I thought that my ship had sailed, so to speak, but was thrilled when I discovered that I could train to become a financial adviser with the company that I already loved working for. Throughout the whole process I was encouraged and supported. It was the best thing that I have done.
