Our culture as described by our colleagues
Flexible, responsible, diverse and forward thinking – this is our culture.
We have created a culture that we are proud of, and one which we believe makes Schroders Personal Wealth a great place to work. Listen to our colleagues talk about their experience of working at here.
Our company standards
We help people make plans to get to where they want to be in their lives. That’s a great responsibility – and it clearly points us towards a really important purpose. In three words, we change lives. Our purpose is the overarching reason behind everything we do and is supported by our company standards.
We put clients first
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We consistently ensure that the actions we take benefit our clients; putting them first to provide the best possible experience.
We challenge ourselves to think differently and are always seeking to improve by finding new ways to help our clients.
Since our inception in 2019, we have been building an inclusive and diverse workforce, where colleagues can bring their whole selves to work.
Our vision is to become an organisation which is reflective of our clients and also the communities in which we operate. A culture where everyone, irrespective of difference and background, can make an impact and reach their potential, and one which has a shared vision to lead by example when it comes to diversity, equity and inclusion.
We are proud to have a number of employee networks, all of which are voluntarily run by colleagues, and open to any colleague to join.
“As a member of both the Womens’ and Prism (our LGBTQ+) networks, it is clear how committed Schroders Personal Wealth are to eliminating biases and ensuring the company is inclusive of all walks of life.
The networks are run by the colleagues for the colleagues to have a platform to share their experiences and provide support to others.”

Supporting our colleagues wellbeing is a priority
We take a proactive approach to our colleague wellbeing.
We provide support for all colleagues in a number of areas including: physical, mental, financial and social wellbeing.
We are proud to have our own Mental Health Manifesto for colleagues and line managers, and a network of volunteer Mental Health Allies across our business, ready to support peers.
Gender Equality
Our vision is for all colleagues, whatever their role or circumstance, to have the resources and flexibility they need to achieve what’s important to them, both inside and outside work.
We are committed to doing more to ensure all colleagues have equal opportunities regardless of their gender. By signing the Women in Finance Charter, we have publicly pledged to support the progression of women into senior roles. We are committed to monitoring the numbers closely over the coming years and doing more to improve gender diversity.
When we signed up to the Women in Finance Charter in June 2023, we had 32.5% female representation in senior management and our target was 37% by December 2028.
As of July 2024, we have achieved our target of 37% female representation in senior management. We have therefore stretched our target to 40% by our deadline of December 2028 and believe we are on track to achieve this.
Ready to join the team?
We partner with these organisations to promote and support equality and are committed to understanding and embracing different perspectives, creating an environment where people can be themselves and express their individuality. We’re working hard to build an inclusive business that reflects the diversity of modern Britain.
